Life is short, break the rules, forgive quickly, kiss slowly, love truly, laugh uncontrollably, and never regret anything that made you smile. Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”  -Mark Twain

Hiya! I’m Chloe and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my job because it’s AWESOME! No seriously, it’s true. I believe that whether it’s an intimate elopement, a destination wedding on a tropical beach, or a 300-guest grand ballroom celebration, seizing the right moments with a photo is what keeps those moments alive forever. Photography is much more than an Instagram photo—but don’t get me wrong, I love Instagram! Great photography inspires true emotions, captures fleeting moments, incites laughter, triggers tears of happiness and joy, and means having a true talent for smart lighting and environment. I breathe life back into photography.

About me:
-I am an SF native
-My mother is Caucasian and my father is African-American. I am coffee with cream as my mother used to say…
-I have freckles and a fro, hence my Twitter handle and Instagram name, frecklesnfro.
-Some of my favorite words: eclectic, sassy, hecka, hyphy, and supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.
-I LOVE the color gold and own a complete set of gold sequin shoes, a gold sequin fanny-pack, and a gold medium-format film camera.
-I like to wear mini-hats.
-My boyfriend and I live with a fat cat named Nelson who does not, in fact, like to wear mini-hats.
-My favorite movies are The Princess Bride, Coming To America, Speed (don’t judge me, it’s my guilty pleasure), Ghostbusters (all of them), Home Alone (the first one) and Law & Order (only the original and SVU).
-I studied Law at UCSB, clearly it didn’t stick.
-I’ve had the honor of shooting a traditional Fijian Wedding…Amazing, see: Fiji Wedding

-I was in a documentary about women’s rights when I was 16…see! Seneca Falls

Dreams:
-To live in another country some day and have my own little farm, raise a few chickens, ducks, and maybe a goat or two.
-To shoot a culturally specific wedding (Hindu, Cambodian, Chinese, Japanese, African, South American, etc.).
-To shoot a northwestern, outdoor, mountain/country wedding (Tahoe, Eureka, Colorado, Washington, and beyond).
-To some day, have my own destination wedding.
-To shoot your unique and amazing wedding!

Stay Fabulous!
