Meet Kim & Xan, they are the perfect fit, and I mean perfect. Having met on Ok Cupid, I’m convinced they should be in a commercial advertising it’s success, because did I mention these two are in LOVE! I squawked at them multiple times for being too damn adorable!
The night the three of us met and fell in love, we already had a plan for their engagement session and it was genius…re-create their first date and I think Xan could teach classes to men to help plan the world’s best dates! First we went to Yield Wine Bar which is Sow by day and sipped on the best mimosa’s I’ve ever tasted, then we headed over to the 3rd Street Boxing Gym for a little sparring we explored the industrial gold mine that is the Dogpatch when suddenly Kim realized tacos were in order so we headed to their favorite spot, Taqueria Cancun to munch on some delicious snacks. We finished our adventure where they finished their first date, Duboce Park and we went to the very bench where they sat replaying the events of their evening and realizing that this was something real, but when they leaned in for their magical first kiss, the sprinklers went off! Like something out of a movie, I love it! Needless to say they eventually managed to have that first kiss and a million more since then!
I’m so excited for your wedding this summer and congrats on your new place!
xo,
Thank you to Sow, Yield Wine Bar, 3rd Street Boxing Gym and Taqueria Cancun for graciously letting have creative adventures in your establishments!
These two are a a perfect match, college sweethearts who have grown up together and fallen more and more in love with eachother and the things that bond them. From climbing anything that is and isn’t climbable, to bike riding for fun and to commute, to the Giants, to fun nights with friends, to brewing their own beer…yes you heard me correct and yes I tried it and yes it’s delicious and yes it will be served at the wedding.
They planned out a fabulous engagement session at their favorite park where we climbed (and by we I mean they did!), rode bikes, drank their yummy beer and some wine, played cards (some games were completely made up and the others were only kinda made up, but in every scenario Brett lost which was hilarious!), we played in the leaves, fed the ducks and even found the one from the Afflack commercial and lived on the wild side, laying on train tracks. It was a perfect day and with their wedding just around the corner I can’t tell you how excited I am to see what their day will bring!
