Good, you’re back. That wasn’t very difficult now was it? Don’t worry you won’t be disappointed at all. If; however, you’re still a little apprehensive then follow me, will you, through my wonderful experience of working with Miss. Chloe Jackman.

My wife and I were recently engaged and were in the process of planning our wedding. We had the venue, food, drinks, music, well everything picked out except for possibly the one thing that matters the most, the photographer. We had met several and never felt that they quite meshed with our personalities until we met with Chloe over a bottle of wine in the Ferry building. Instantly we hit it off. She was actually more interested in our story instead of just running through the usual wedding photographer’s pitch. She was fun to have a drink with, basically someone that we would have WANTED at our wedding, regardless of the camera. We liked her, we hired her. We were not disappointed.

She met us up in Marin over happy hour beers and oysters for our engagement shoot. Everyone can take pictures right? Sure, but not everyone can set up shots and angles that can get truly original photographs out of very mundane everyday situations such as drinking a beer with a friend or talking to your son. Not everyone can bring the utmost professionalism while also offering the utmost FUN! Our house is surrounded by framed reminders of that engagement session.

On the wedding day Chloe and her team were very focused, very professional, very fun and full of energy. Chloe even made the obligatory wedding party pictures fun. You know the ones where you stand around and take a picture with everyone you’ve ever met for what seems like months? Well because of her energy and her ability to keep everyone loose and laughing, even this session went by painlessly. I can’t praise her enough for how GREAT she is with kids besides saying this. She’s GREAT WITH KIDS! You’ll find out for yourself though since by now I’m sure you’ve already hired her and are just waiting for this review to end. Don’t worry dear reader I only have a few more praises for Chloe to share with you. She does all these great things like bring a photo booth to the reception and surprises you with amazingly awesome flip books that unfold like accordions of memories to remind you of your special day.

Well the venue is under renovation, the food has been eaten all the drinks have been drunk and the music has faded, but because my wife and I trusted Chloe with our wedding we have the most amazing photos to always remember the night we got together and had a party.

Having Chloe shoot our engagement and wedding was like having a friend taking our photos, if our friend just so happened to be one of the BEST PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHERS IN THE BAY AREA.

Chloe has captured several of our very important, can’t forget this, must show our kids how cool we were, life moments. Not only is she fun, full of ideas, and easy to work with, but DAMN did she make me look sexy. Even while 8 months pregnant. I know, right?

She took our pregnancy photos, took shots of our adorable, cranky beast of a newborn, and wedding. We were married at the SF Courthouse, and she made the place look so beautifully intimate, all the while paying homage to the grandness of the venue.

Hiring Chloe for our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made. We hired Chloe as our wedding photographer and we honestly could not have selected a more talented person for the job.  She managed to be professional, yet kept everything fun, sassy, and light-hearted.  Our large and somewhat unruly families certainly put her to the test, but she did wonderfully and everyone commented on how amazing she was!   Her photos captured the emotion of each special moment and we loved the way she documented every detail of the day. Chloe took our wedding photos, and when I say “took” I mean completely ROCKED our wedding photos. I honestly could not have asked for a better photographer. She meet with us and thoroughly went over everything we were looking for. When the big day came, she was there bright and early and stuck it out the whole day. She is so energetic and will be bouncing off the walls in order to get the perfect shot. She will do all the dirty work of getting so and so together so you don’t have to worry about it on your day. Family Fun

 Simply put: HIRE CHLOE – she’s AMAZING AND TALENTED!  My husband had worked with Chloe on a photo shoot for his band which produced impressive shots so I looked into hiring her for a casual family photo shoot.  To be honest because of my personality I shopped around and emailed about half a dozen other folks but truthfully for quality and rate I couldn’t find anything better so I booked her.  Her style is hip and contemporary, but really captures the warmth and details of her subjects; it’s beautiful and unique but not so artsy that it’s inaccessible to family, friends and other audiences.  Another thing that I LOVED was that included in her price was a CD/ DVD with a plethora of shots and availability to purchase prints and other products; a lot of other photographers are stingy about this and/or charge you extra for those rights or only give you a few.  While Chloe is extremely professional she’s not afraid to get down and dirty to get the job done.  She exudes energy and wasn’t afraid to jump around tons to get the best shot and best of all cater to the needs of our baby.  An example of her wonder-womanness was that she somehow was able to hold our 9 month old WHILE shooting some just-mom&dad photos – I need to know her secret for that one! Book her for ANY kind of shoot and you won’t be disappointed.  We will hopefully have the opp. to work with her again and until then give her the highest of recommendations!!!! CHLOE ROCKS!!!!!

I love them…it is amazing how much you captured who we are as people. There is history to the day we met up to have the pictures taken: We were in the midst of a several week push (with insanely jammed weekends of a list of tasks that HAD TO BE COMPLETED) to get things ready to house a million family members as well as prep for a back yard party with a million additional people, friends and the family not staying with us, all for a graduation party. Grace completely melted down and was refusing to even go have her picture taken and the rest of us were as close to zombie dead exhausted and all wondering why in the world why we HAD TO GO and have pictures taken…. alas, we meet up with you, the awesome bundle of energy photo maestro and BINGO! You eased us right into the fun of it all, helped us let go of the weeks of insanity stress and get us to relax and have fun with you and the result is simply amazing. Thank you! The pictures are great and truly provide a peek into who we like to believe we are when life’s rush of too much being busy fades enough to simply be present with ourselves and each other. So I will say it again, thank you!

Chloe was a superstar to work with!  We were able to squeeze in a shoot just as she was leaving town.  But she didn’t make us feel like we were last minute.  She was amazing.  Chloe was able to capture the spirit of my son, who is 7, full of energy and hard to calm down.  She immediately bonded with him and made him the focus, which he loved.  She was able to capture expressions and gestures that only I see of my son.  No other photographer has been able to extract his true presence.  The photos are beautiful and my biggest dilemna will be choosing just a few!  Can’t say enough about Chloe.  We will drive 3 hours to the city just to have her take our photos!
